Reference

The main style of my character design was focus on hand-drawn texture. In order to find the inspiration of my character design, I had searched some references from Pinterest. Colored figures reflect the dynamic emotions, however; my animation is more suitable for monochrome type.

The two characters below are the first sketch of my character.

I tried different brush to create the atmosphere that I like.

In the end, I designed two characters. A graduate and a worker, both were depicted in black and white style.

The texture was added in photoshop.I drew the shape in the Illustrator first. Then input into the Photoshop to edit.

The very first walking prototype of my character, working through After Effects.
